Doug Kelly


Doug Kelly began his career in product development, sales and marketing at Converse.


He moved to Curley-Bates and was promoted from group director, to vice president, and then COO. He became the CEO, at the age of 33, of Easton Sports, and grew that business from $17 million to over $100 million worldwide over the next 8 years. He was recruited by Pro Player Sports in 1994. As CEO he grew the business to 10,000 retail accounts generating over $270 million in revenue and secured license deals with the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB and CLC. In 2000, he was recruited by the Blackstone Group and Chase to become CEO of Imperial Home Décor Group. A company in Chapter 11. He managed the turnaround and brought the company out in just 11 months. Doug was recruited to be CEO of Russell Athletic/Spalding generating revenue of $684 million. After his time at Russell Athletic, he was then recruited to be CEO of Imperial Headwear.
